The Role
I really enjoyed my time with EY. Was very well looked after and given plenty of opportunity.
I was integrated into the team straight away. It felt like I had worked there for years.
I believed throughout the internship that I was given good guidance, however I was made almost certain that I was going to get an offer, always being told how well I was doing and how I fit into the team, for me then to be not offered a graduate role at the end.
Constantly busy with a lot to do and many deadlines. Enjoyed how busy I was.
I was given plenty of responsibility, i was given technical work to do and also given the responsibility to run a presentation class and therefore was responsible for my own learning too.
The experience gave me fantastic skills for my career, not particularly helpful for my degree (economics), but skills I can take forward and definitely put on my CV.
The Company
A fantastic atmosphere within my team. They felt like a family, very chatty and friendly. Brilliant team.
A very good set up. Well structured, I knew what I was there to do.
They tried to get me involved in meetings and learning sessions so that I could try and learn/develop as much as possible in the 6 weeks.
