The Role
A great office with bright and friendly staff.
My colleagues were friendly and helpful unfortunately there was not that much work, so I could not really get 'involved' in a project to the extent that I would have liked.
I was given all the support that I required.
I would have liked to me more involved with a project, as such at times I was not as busy as I would have liked.
Due to the short length of the placement, I was not able to take much responsibility.
The placement was invaluable to experience both the aspects of a large engineering company, and of the Infrastructure and highways department.
The Company
The office always seemed to be buzzing, everyone was happy to help, and always very positive.
As my placement was relatively short, and their was not too much work, I felt I was picking up odd jobs and people were making work for me. Ideally I would have like to be more involved in a project.
I was encouraged to go to lunch time seminars that were available at the company.
The office was very positive, with lots of skilled and knowledgeable people who were happy to help. I would love to work in the office again, however I feel I would be better suited to working in the structures department.
The Culture
Due to time limitations, I was not able to attend the social.
Bristol is a very clean city, with a low cost of living.
Very good.
Unfortunately due to the short length of my placement I was not able to get involved.
