The Role
I went into the job with a 50/50 approach after reading some mixed reviews around the new Talentum process at O2. However I was wrong. There was confusion over my job role at first but this was sorted out so quickly and I was matched with a role that perfectly suits me based on how I interviewed. This has gone so well so far. The one problem I have is this is only a year contract and I still have to go back to Uni.
Very Very much so. They took me under their wing straight away. You have to be prepared for feedback and it is always constructive. Some colleagues are more engaging that others based on how much spare time they have. I found that if I make the effort with them then they would make the effort with me! Not just in work but also out of work. I was included in pretty much everything straight away and it really helps when integrating you into the team.
The best bit about the guidance from by management is their trust in me. I will do a piece of work and if I want it to be reviewed by my boss then he will happily do so. For my bigger projects I check most stuff with them and the feedback I am getting is improving the rest of my working going forward. The support has definitely help improve my work within the company as my time has gone on.
At first I wasn't overly busy as I was trying to adapt and learn more about the company internal. However since Ive been more involved and given my own projects I have gotten more busy. However this is not a bad busy but instead a challenging one that suits who I am.
A lot. I can up with a proposition and I was trusted from the start to own this and take it as far as possible with the overall aim being to launch and make money from this. It is still on going but the trust and ownership of the product has really help to drive me.
I think the thought process that I have learnt so far and I am still learning will definitely help me to become more analytical in my thinking and arguments. My tone of voice and how I put my arguments across will also be more targeted and specific I believe.
The Company
My time was split between two different offices. One in London and one in Slough, they atmosphere was different in each but most of the time it was fun with a lot of charisma from my fellow colleagues. You didn't have to sit there in exam conditions you could grab a coffee or make a joke when you wanted but you learn when the right time is!
I had a rough start in terms of who I was reporting too but that was sorted before I started. I was told about 3 different job role titles but none of them are actually what I am doing. there was a lot of ambiguity but it worked itself out within a week of starting and since then has been fine
There is always lots of different training events so you get a wide choice of what to get involved in.

Very, I hope to be back here soon!
The Culture
Yeah, if you turned up in the canteen you were bound to find one of them and even if not there was always someone you could find to sit with. Outside of work there was always something going on too
Not bad but fairly average and what you would expect.
In London, like you would expect it was good.
Yes, there was different sport activities but also giving back to the community opportunities too, so always something for everyone.
