The Role
Very interesting, was able to learn lots from others
No one treated me less because I was an intern. Every in-charge I had would thank me for my work, and would give me valuable feedback
2 placement evaluations with my manager, and everyone encouraged me to ask questions
Some days busier than others; but mostly busy.
Would depend on which client I worked on; for larger clients, I would be given smaller sections. Still had the opportunity to talk to clients
Got a very good overview of the work, and actually pretty relevant to my courses (Currently doing a Major in Accounting)
The Company
Social
Started the internship with two day training, where I was able to know where I would be and on which clients I would be working with for the rest of my time
Was able to receive feedback after working on each client, and was often asked whether I was satisfied with the quality of the work given.
Subsidised Canteen
National Travel
Company Parties/Events
Was offered a job on graduation, and can't wait to go back!
The Culture
Few other colleagues organized socials before the internship, and during the internship as well.
Worked in Nottingham, and found it relatively affordable
Lots of bars and nigh clubs
Not a lot for an intern; but some of my full-time colleagues were involved in a few activities outside work
