The Role
My 8 weeks at UBS represented a great time to learn what working in an investment bank is like, but also to develop some good personal relationship with other interns and colleagues.
I felt my job was highly valued by my colleagues, which included me in all their activities giving me a great deal of responsibility since day one.
My questions were always welcome and appreciated.
Depending on the level of activity of the team during the summer, it ranged from high pressure to more relaxed moments, useful to develop good relationship across the teams and the divisions.
I was given a surprising level of responsibility since the early days of my internship, being free to think at innovative ways to perform the tasks I was assigned and to discuss them with my colleagues.
Invaluable skills on both a personal and professional level.
The Company
Very stimulating, although friendly and supportive.
Very good organisation from the Human Resources, both before and during the internship.
Extensive training programme throughout the summer internship.
Company Parties/Events
The Culture
Yes, fantastic environment especially with other junior colleagues.
In line with London standards.
In line with London City standards.
Yes, both organised from UBS and from other colleagues.
