The Role
I had a really enjoyable experience during my work placement
For the most part I felt valued as a member of the team but on occasions felt a little isolated.
To begin with I was given good support but at points the guidance dropped, but I never found that I had nothing to do
I had something to do everyday
I wasn't given an enormous amount of responsibility during my placement, but I still did work that was important
I felt that the seminars and training I received was really useful.
The Company
The atmosphere in the office was really nice and welcoming and I fitted in almost immediately
The placement was fairly well set-up but as it was during the summer my supervisors varied as some of them went on holiday
I was invited to attend seminars and training slots for chartership which was all really valuable experience
