The Role
The year in IBM offers you many opportunities for learning, training and doing other things and is quite enjoyable.
Depends on the team you work for, smaller teams value you more and what you do in the team. My team was small so I was valued for the work I did and my role.
My manager provided me with a lot of training and support throughout the year and your have the options of doing some online education too
My job was very time consuming as I am quite efficient but you do have to meet targets which can be weekly or monthly
I was given quite a lot of responsibility to work on client servers and worked on a project with a colleague being the only resources available in the UK
i have learnt so much about myself, business, team work and developing my skills in everyting. it will help me for my degree as I am a lot more organised and i am utilise my hours more. It has also provided me with insight with what i want to do in the future as a career.
