The Role
My time at Telefonica has been such valuable experience. I have thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of the placement and have gained exposure to many different areas of the Business.
I felt valued by my colleagues and was highly respected. I was treated like all other employees.
I was given a lot of support by my manager. We communicated on a regular basis, and I was given constructive feedback which allowed me to develop my skills.
I was generally kept very busy. Some days were busier than others but if I was lacking work to do I could easily seek more.
I was given a lot of responsibility from the beginning. I was relied upon and took lead for many different projects.
The skills I have developed have allowed me to put my degree into context. It has allowed me the put theory into practice and I will take back many skills when I continue at university next year.
The Company
Generally a very calm, pleasant atmopshere. Everyone was polite, kind and positive. I felt comfortable approaching anyone.
Really well organised. No problems settling in and relevent development programmes were in place throughout.
We had regular training sessions and target setting. The company ensure that you spend enough time with your manager.
