The Role
I am thoroughly enjoying my placement in London, having been put onto a new and exciting project.
I feel that my colleagues (not just my line manager and immediate team members but the wider project group) value my input and the work product that i contribute to the project.
I would say that I was given support and guidance by my management as I am learning on the job, there was no formal training.
I would say that I am fairly busy day to day and I am never bored or sat twiddling my thumbs.
I have been given a lot of responsibility and I'm sure that I will be given more, never too much though!
The skills I have developed thus far have no bearing on my degree and will probably not help me in the coming year. However I feel that I will be using these skills for a long time.
The Company
Lively! A lot going on.
I feel like I'm here as a grad, without the grad perks
Other than any on the job training, I have had no formal training.
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Working from home
I would be delighted at the prospect of a grad job.
The Culture
None/Very little. This was mainly due to there being so few technology Industrial Placement Students and no events set up by HR (so far).
2 words - It's London
Great, the pubs and bars are always full (pretty much every night).
Yes, UBS has links with the Bridge Academy and there are regular volunteering opportunities.
