The Role
It was an enjoyable and truly insightful experience into the world of professional services. Really recommend!
Unlike a vertical hierarchy, it certainly felt very lateral. You could have a chat with everyone, even one of the directors joined us for lunch once.
There was an incredible amount of assistance given to us. They knew we wouldn't be amazing (obviously) so they're willing to sit you down and talk through the problem.
In truth, some days were very mild, but some were very busy. Really just depended on what work the others could give to you.
Not a huge amount, but certainly enough to feel valued.
It really helps to direct you towards your future career. You honestly do get a good idea into what that profession is like and whether its something you want to pursue or not. Also, you learn a good amount of excel (invaluable!)
The Company
Incredibly chatty and relaxed. Work got done, but you weren't sat facing your desk alone all day at all!
Reasonable. Some lack of work and issues with going to meetings did arise.
They spent a lot of time going through certain areas of the work and I can safely say there was a LOT of information to take in

The Culture
My department was very small, so not too really much outside work hours. That being said, there was quite a lot of times we all went out for lunch and a pint (colleagues and other intern).
I live there anyway, and Leeds is cheap.
Leeds...
Not so much.
