  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?

    • My experience at Arup was completely outstanding. I had carried out summer placements at 2 other companies prior to working at Arup but none of them had been this satisfactory.

    • Arup company provides the best possible working environment where everyone is quite approachable and friendly.

    • The guidance provided to me was outstanding and has helped me improve my performance in the university.

  • 4. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and information you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?

    • My placement was limited to 4 weeks. But within these 4 weeks, I ended up gathering substantial Reinforced Concrete design skills which i lacked prior to joining Arup. Being an intern at Arup also acted as a motivation enabling me to win an award at University.

    • The programme I followed during my internship was very well structured.

    • Everyone was friendly and approachable. Everyone seem to share similar vision ie. they wanted me to make the most out of my internship and learn as much as I can.
