The Role
I really enjoyed my summer internship. It gave me the opportunity to directly apply my University taught knowledge to solve real life problems. Worked on various projects and carried out wide range of design work.
Really valued. Work was often praised and I was invited to various socials organised by the office.
Given plenty of support and guidance. Supervisor held daily meetings and was happy to provide any assistance when I needed it.
Good balance.
I was given a fair amount of responsibility,
Developed key skills, such as time management, organisation and profiecency in various I.T softwares. Hope to use these skills in my final year of University, but also in my practical life!
The Company
Good balance. Various fundraisers and games which lightened the mood in the office.
Organised well, got a flavour of both the consulting and contracting side of structural engineering.
Invested their time to teach me new design softwares.
Very appealing.
The Culture
Yes, good social scene. Frequent socials organised for the employees.
Commuted from home.
Fairly good, the office was located in the city centre.
Yes a few.
