The Role
You get to know a lot of people while understanding the investment market.
They made me responsible for several events and documents that added value for the whole team. Moreover, I participated actively on every weekly meeting.
Everybody within Fidelity is very approachable and have no problem on helping when you have doubts. They go further on their explanations and try to help you understanding everything from a global perspective.
Having direct contact with clients and being you the person responsible of answering any doubt or request made this internship quite challenging.
The Company
Weekly meetings with your team and "breakfast celebrations" of big deals within the sales team makes you feel like with friends while working.
During the first month, several conference calls with responsible from the different departments within FIL are arranged for you in order to give you a better understanding of the different franchises.
Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Healthcare from home
I started as an intern but now I moved to their graduate programme.
The Culture
In my case, I was placed in the Madrid office which meant I had to move from my city. However, I recieved FIL's help when looking and paying for accomodation.
