The Role
I really enjoyed it. I was given very interesting and different projects both in sustaining and engineering where I could test myself and see what I like and what I don't.
Everyone there was very friendly. We would occassionally go to the pub, have a climbing session together or do something else.
All the time my manager and my internship buddy were there to help me, teach me something new and guide me towards the right direction!
I always had enough to do. And whenever I felt like doing more I would go to my manager and ask for some extra work.
I was given quite a lot of responsibility. I was actually working on real projects and I was given an opportunity to make a difference in the company.
I learnt what real engineering was. Finally I could actually relate my theoretical knowledge to practice and do something! After this internship I see this engineering world in a slightly different way.
The Company
It all felt like family which is the atmosphere everyone would like to work in! People there know how to have fun while working so it's never boring.
Very well organised. We had lots of events organised for interns. And the types of projects where chosen so I could achieve most during my internship.
I received numerous hours of trainings. I felt that company really cared for me and invested a lot in my development.

Company Parties/Events
This comapany invests in you and trusts you a lot. If you do your job well they will definitely hope for you to come back.
The Culture
We had intern's day, picnic and trip to Cambridge centre organised just for us - interns. We all knew each other and would go for lunch together or even sometimes to a pub after work.
The office I worked in was based in Stonehouse. There's not much socialising one could do, however most people lived in Glaucester and Cheltenham. There are plenty of pubs and different things to do for everyone! Some people even lived in Bristol - which is probably the best if you like active city life.
Stonehouse is a quiet little village whith no nightlife.
People organise get togethers, go climbing or do something else fun!
