The Role
It was a great working environment, the training provided in the initial week was a good start. During the internship we had numerous chances to meet senior managers and get a chance to listen to their experiences.
My team was supportive through out the internship and whereever I was stuck they always helped me out..
The managers were always ready to listen whenever I had a problem and we had weekly catchups where if I had any problems I would speak them out.
The schedule was well balanced, and I had enough time to find out more about the Bank as well do the tasks at hand.
Whenever there were tasks that I could manage, I was given the chance to take charge of the project/task.
The Company
It was always lively
It was well organised from the training day, to intern events, to meeting senior executives and getting sessions from them.
We had a week of training before actually getting into the role. I also learnt alot as I got into my role.
The conversion rates for the interns is great, especially if the intern puts in effort.
The Culture
We met up quite often especially on Fridays after work.
Being in London it was quite expensive, but managable.
There are many opportunities organised by other employees that involve going to volunteer and help out. We had a session with As Level Students which was compulsory for us to help out.
