The Role
Best summer of my life. Met amazing people and learned so much in just 9 weeks. I could only wish for the summer programme to be longer!
Team-mates, fellow interns, Directors and Managing Directors, but above all, Line Manager; everyone was very motivating and welcoming.
Line Manager was completely dedicated in teaching me new things and helping me solve any problems that I faced. Had a green pass from him to knock him at ANY time.
Quite busy, but not to stress out or anything. Was perfect balance.
I was given responsibility of few work that my manager himself did. From day one itself I was dealing with real life projects and my manager showed a lot of faith in me, which really encouraged me to get everything right.
Extensive training in all fields provided for the first week. On-going training throughout the programme
The Company
Worked in the Trading Floor which was quite active and had the buzz factor running all the time! Amazing environment.
Best organising event ever. Everything was picture perfect. Hats off to the HR team for getting everything done so smoothly.
A lot. The whole programme shows how much Barclays really care for the future generation. Ample amount of attention was given to each and every intern.

The Culture
Yes, everyone was very open, welcoming and sociable which made it easy to fit in and calm the jittery nerves in the beginning.
Considering it was in London, cost is obviously not the most favourable.
One word: London.
