The Role
The work itself, the colleagues, and the pay were all excellent and up to the best of industry standard. The only negative part were long working hours.
Every relationship was at the very least professional, people valuing your time and contribution. I've also developed a few genuine friendships while on the job.
I could always ask if I didn't know something - so I felt supported just to the right extent (no one gave me tasks I couldn't complete).
Never bored, but quite and quite over-worked. Then again, I do not think that is a negative.
Went to client meetings / worked directly with managing directors / worked on a number of live deals / contributed to discussions and research projects.
Incredible time-management and interpersonal skills development. Makes you realize what the whole 'working' thing is about.
The Company
Very family-like: there were trips to pub, common lunches, watching football together etc. Everyone was friendly and conflicts were kept to an absolute minimum.
