The Role
I was lucky enough to be working in one of the most challenging teams in my division where I got a lot of responsibilities and learnt a lot from them.
Everyone in my team was really helpful and always willing to teach me. I have never felt being ignored or undervalued.
Although the team was generally very busy, my line manager always tried to arrange some time for quick catch ups where we both discussed my objectives and progress.
I was extremely busy which I consider as a good thing. As the team was very challenging and required a lot of work to be done, I always leave the office late at 9pm.
I felt that for an intern, the amount of work and responsibilities I was given was huge which is a good indicator. I believe that only if the team trusts you, will they give you important work.
Every skill that I gained/enhanced will certainly assist me in my future studies, career and life in general.
The Company
Always busy and fast-moving.
Quite well organised with many useful Networking Sessions, Speaker Panels and exciting activities for interns.
Overall, I thought the training sessions were insightful, but I wish the Excel sessions could be longer.
Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Very appealing.
