  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • I enjoyed both the work I was doing but more the atmosphere of the company itself and working with the people around me.

    • I was often asked to assist in high profile experiments and to give my opinion on the results which was carried forward in meetings.

    • Although you are very much expected to work independently there is always someone around to ask if you need help or have any questions.

    • Due to the unit I worked in there was always work yo before and deadlines to meet.

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?

    • I was given a great deal in responsibility from my normal day to day data generation required for GMP samples to running my own project on a dedicated instrument.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?

    • The skills and knowledge I have gained from this place to have already began helping me in my masters project and in sure I will carry through into what ever I work on next.
