The Role
Although I felt that the service line was not for me, I loved everything about EY.
Extremely, I became close with a number of colleagues who I will continue to stay in touch with.
Support was there whenever I needed it.
I was never short on projects/tasks to complete.
Enough responsibility to make me feel as if I was making a real contribution, but not an overwhelming amount for an intern.
The skills I developed were more helpful in a corporate environment rather than at uni.
The Company
I spent all of my internship out at client sites which is the nature of audit, so I can not really comment on the London Office however it seemed friendly enough when I was there during induction training.
Extremely well - no problems.
We were given counsellors and buddies and the opportunity to make our own internship at EY whether this meant shadowing Partners or working in a different service line for a day.
Very appealing.
The Culture
Definitely always somewhere to go after work or someone to catch up with.
I lived in the area I worked in so no extra cost to me.
It's London..... so pretty good.
Yes however you did have to pay a handsome amount (for a student anyway) to join in.
