The Role
I really enjoyed the internship.
My colleagues were great and treated me like I was a permanent employee which helped me get to know them and understand their work more.
I received lots of support from various managers and in particular from the career counsellor I was assigned when I started the internship.
I'd say I was definitely kept busy and didn't have any time to get bored.
I was amazed at the amount of responsibility I was given during my internship. The work I was doing was real work that actually helped the rest of the team i was working with.
I'm not sure it will really have helped me much with my degree studies but I definitely learnt a lot during my time there and developed my commercial aweness.
The Company
The atmosphere was fun and friendly. Everyone was very relaxed with each other and were able to have a laug now and then whilst remaining professional.
It was very well organised. Everyone in the office had been told about what was going on and this meant that everyone was enthusiastic about giving me work to do or letting me shadow them on some really interesting tasks that they were doing.
They invested a lot of time in me by having very regular meetings with various managers to see how I was getting on and explain more about the various roles each of the managers and departments had.

I have accepted an offer there to work in the same team at the same office so yes the prospects are very appealing!
The Culture
Yes there were plenty of social events for everyone in the office and it was a great way to get to know everyone better!
It was quite expensive but the internship was well paid which meant I could afford the living costs.
I didn't really experience the nightlife where I was but I don't think it is meant to be that good really.
There were the office social events but there didn't really seem to be any clubs or sports teams as such but I think this varies quite a bit depending on the office you are in.
