The Role
Really enjoyed it!
They were all lovely, they involved me from day one and made me a part of the team.
The buddy system is great and works very well, you also have a career counsellor and support staff if needed.
Some days were quiet with not a huge amount of responsibility, but there is always something to be done. Being proactive is the key!
A fair amount, although obviously all work is checked and reviewed before being sent to clients.
Lots of tax knowledge which is always useful in day to day life.
The Company
A fairly relaxed atmosphere, people were all friendly, welcoming and helpful. The staff felt genuinely interested in you and your career and always had time to talk.
There were lots of events that were run really well, a CSR day and a final black tie event which was great.
Its only a six week internship so not a vast amount of training was done. There are online modules that are completed etc, which are helpful.
Company Parties/Events
Above 25 days holiday
They have offered me a graduate job, which is a great thing.
The Culture
Yes, all the interns were like minded and we went out for unch/dinner/clubbing together a few times.
London is an expensive city but finding a place to stay wasnt too hard.
Good social scene, bars were nice. A bit pricey but thats to be expected in London,
Yes the CSR day was cool, we had a team building afternoon (treasure hunt and drinks).
