The Role
I really enjoyed my placement as I had lots of responsibility, got the opportunity to work in different offices and was part of enjoyable teams.
I definitely felt very valued by my colleagues especially considering I also got offered a graduate job before I left for after uni.
Both of my managers were extremely useful and helped with all queries an concerns I had throughout the year.
I was usually very busy on a daily basis and had to quickly learn how to successfully manage time
I was given a lot of responsibility during the placement year as I had my own sections of projects to work on
It has really helped me with final year as I am now more adaptable and my communication skills have improved
The Company
The atmosphere was a mixture of friendliness, fun and professionalism. Everyone said hello no matter what their position was
When I was in Belfast the placement was set up well as the managers were very helpful. However, the training week prior to starting which was held in London could have been managed better.
They invested a lot in me considering the amount of time others had to spend training me and improving my skill set. Further to this, they have agreed to put me through my professional exams which will require substantial investment.

Very appealing as I have secured my graduate training contract with them
The Culture
There was a better social scene with fellow placement students in the Dublin office as there were more students employed in the office.
I lived at home so the cost of living was not high. In Belfast I didn't socialise much therefore this cost was not high either.
The nightlife in Belfast is not as good as Dublin as it closes too early
Yes there were a few opportunities offered however this is an area that could be improved.
