The Role
Good hours. Work in audit tends to be seasonal. It was the "quiet" audit season during my internship, which is why I had the opportunity to undertake some Risk Assurance control testing work too.
Fantastic people to work with. Really setting aside time to help you develop your skills and career path. I had a great "people-manager" and "buddy".
Three day training beforehand put me at ease.
There was no steady influx of work. It was either hectic or very relaxed.
I was treated as a first-year associate.
The softer skills help me in everything I do, eg time-management and building inter-personal relationships. The accounting pronciples I learnt will support my career in the future, but does not affect my degree course (science).
The Company
Most of the time I worked at the client's site. Teams were friendly, and generally the clients were nice.

The Culture
A few socials for the interns, organised by the firm, would have been great! Nevertheless we organised our own informal events.
40% of my wages went to rent.
Again, would have appreciated a few organised socials for the interns, btu I was invited to audit summer ball which was fun!
