The Role
The internship was extremely well organised, giving me every opportunity to gain exactly what I required from the experience, from experience with the day to day work, to networking within the firm and personal progression.
I was made to feel very welcome within the firm and every employee was as helpful as the next. The employees seemed to empathise with my position and there was a great 'family' feel around the office.
We were assigned a 'buddy' to help us with any day to day queries or any more important issues. However I found that everybody in the firm was willing to give support and answer any questions I had. I also recieved extensive on the job training and coaching.
I was given a constant stream of work to complete, which I thought offered enough of a challange, whilst being achievable.
I was very surprised in how much responsibility i was given, this is evident in how I had to organise and hold meetings with clients on my own.
The work experience helped me develop each of my of my personal skills massively from confidence to knowledge in my degree.
The Company
There was great office banter, but when there was work to be done it was done!
I was very impressed. It was very smooth opperating. [This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the RateMyPlacement Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions] deserve alot of credit.
They invested alot of money in us from giving all the interns a week of extensive training in a 5* country manor hotel in London, whilst paying us a graduate salary.
Sports and Social Club
Company Parties/Events
Got a Job offer which I have deferred for a year.
The Culture
I made some great freinds with my fellow interns and we went of several social events together. Whilst I also had the opportunity to go on work parties to socialise with colleagues.
I love Cardiff.
I love Cardiff.
There were a great variety of social events to partake in. I joined the football side and played for the firm against clients.
