The Role
More than I bargained for.
Just like a full-time employee.
Industrial mentor from day 1, two months hands-on training, additional training events throughout placement year.
My calendar started to populate very quickly, but with balanced workload.
Same a full-time employee.
I managed to improve a lot of employability skills, useful for my personal development.
The Company
Regular open-office activities and atmosphere.
Induction week and initial training proved sufficient as an internal framework.
I am currently with sponsorship for my final year.
Subsidised Canteen
Subsidised/Company Gym
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Sponsorship and hands on training give you an advantage for future employment.
The Culture
Regular get together events were organised.
Oxford is a very expensive city to live in.
As above
Many opportunities, but high cost.
