The Role
The first two days were the worst and hardest. It improved over the two weeks.
Worked in extremely close proximity to important staff within the magazine, i recieved lots of thank yous.
Non particularly needed
some days i would finish later as returning everything they needed took all day
The interns were like a separate department in itself - without us there would be no management of the clothes
Excellent for overseeing the other staffs responsibilities and how different departments communicated with each other - i would have liked to have been shown the ropes.
The Company
Pretty laid back and exciting
Little attention given to interns individual interests/goals from what i could see because as previously stated, interns were like a department in themselves, so needed little involvement with other staff.
Non, however i was there for a short amount of time.
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Healthcare/Dental
I would love to be part of such a sophisticated, creative publication.
The Culture
possibly quite cliquey but on the whole - friendly!
No more than my normal expenses as they provided an oyster card when we returning samples.
Central London is of course expensive but worth it
Possibly to assist on shoots etc outside of the week, but i was not there long enough to gain this privilege.
