  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • It was extremely challenging and a great experience overall that has also helped me find which area of banking I am most passionate about.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?

    • All my team members tried to make me feel like part of the family, they were always very helpful and one thing I appreciated greatly was the fact that they always gave me extremely valuable feedback. They even organized a goodbye dinner for me.

    • My manager was always there for me to answer any questions and give me feedback, he'd even set up a short everyday meeting for us.

    • There were days when work was a bit dull but overall I'd say there was a good balance.

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?

    • I have been given 3 small projects and when I finished those I started doing some of the daily tasks my other team members were doing everyday.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?

    • I'd say I've acquired extremely valuable skills during this internship, most important however is the understanding of the financial sector that I got, which will help me both in my final year of Uni and also when I will start my new job.
