The Role
It was extremely challenging and a great experience overall that has also helped me find which area of banking I am most passionate about.
All my team members tried to make me feel like part of the family, they were always very helpful and one thing I appreciated greatly was the fact that they always gave me extremely valuable feedback. They even organized a goodbye dinner for me.
My manager was always there for me to answer any questions and give me feedback, he'd even set up a short everyday meeting for us.
There were days when work was a bit dull but overall I'd say there was a good balance.
I have been given 3 small projects and when I finished those I started doing some of the daily tasks my other team members were doing everyday.
I'd say I've acquired extremely valuable skills during this internship, most important however is the understanding of the financial sector that I got, which will help me both in my final year of Uni and also when I will start my new job.
