The Role
I enjoyed my placement as it gave me an insight to how the construction industry works on site and also enabled me to increase my experience on site.
I felt part of the team on site which made me feel more welcomed and motivated to do the work on hand which benefited me more than feeling alone.
I was given support on a daily basis and was closely followed by my project manager and site engineer which enabled me to ask a lot more questions.
I had numerous tasks on hand each day and when i never had many tasks on hand i would help my manager with other tasks.
Each work i gained more responsibility and towards the end of the placement i was setting out on a daily basis and writing up reports daily.
I developed many skills on site compared to lectures and classrooms which has widened my knowledge about construction in general.
The Company
The atmosphere was always generally lively and formative yet there was no hatred or singling out at all.
The placement was very well organised and each work i was rotated to do another job within the organisation.
They invested in me a lot providing a laptop, work clothes and a salary.

Very appealing as i am sponsored and I am doing a full placement year with Morgan Sindall and then hopefully get offered a job after my degree.
The Culture
The social scene was good and i was also asked to go to a christmas party which was good.
I lived at home and Morgan Sindall payed some mileage from which i travelled to and from work.
I lived at home in Liverpool and the night life was really good.
Yes there were many lifestyle gyms located in liverpool and many other activities to do.
