  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • I had an excellent time while at M&G. I loved the working atmosphere and everyone valued me as a colleagues!

    • I felt like every one valued me very highly and where confident in giving me any type of work.

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?

    • The support and guidance given to me was amazing. From management/supervisor to anyone else in the company. Everyone was will to take time out of his or her day to advise and help you.

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?

    • I believe that I was quiet busy every day. However, I enjoyed the workload. I was always asked before any a task, if I had the capacity.

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?

    • As I worked in a new team, I was had many unique day-to-day responsibilities for business as usual tasks. Towards the end of my placement, I was responsible for a lot of deliverables for various projects.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?

    • The training that I receive help me achieve a better understanding of how business and IT collaborate with each other. I have also picked up IT skills that I never had before.

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?

    • A great collaborative atmosphere, everyone where friendly and had fun together. But deliverables where always meet.

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?

    • The placement Scheme was well organied and we where given all the support we where needed from HR and alll mangament.

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?

    • Two days of inductions where offered at the start of the placement and in addition Meet the Fund Manager was arranged for us once a week for the first 8 weeks so that we could get to know the industry better. M&G also send on external training for three day to pick up more IT skills.

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?

    • Between the placement students, graduates and apprentices and other fellow colleagues there is a very fun and vibrant social scene

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?

    • M&G are based in the heart of London so it can be quiet expensive.

    • The surrounding areas is very fun. A has all different activities.

    • Yes. M&G have a Sports and Social club that play all types of sports and had many different events.
