The Role
Working with the smartest people and being able to gain knowledge and experience from it.
My work was appreciated by the team which I felt really happy about. I also made some really good friends with people from other teams.
Everyone is willing to provide help without hesitation.
I could finish a decent amount of work daily with some tea breaks in between which was nice.
Although I was not on support for the application, I was given a project that could potentially hugely benefit the whole team.
I think every experience in a company is valuable because it only builds up to my foundation of knowing how to work with people.
The Company
Everyone was normally quite serious.
In general the placement program was well-organized. However I do think a bit of induction/training will be nicer for the beginning of the placement.
I had access to a lot of software and tools. I was also exposed to a lot of business insights.
It was generally very appealing for people who would like to work in Financial sector.
The Culture
During my placement I was the only placement intern at the company, however when the internship started there were a lot of social events organized.
It was slightly higher than student standard.
There were lots of bars around.
Yes, there were a lot of volunteer days organized by the company.
