About You
It was a fun and interesting experience and I would recommend it to anyone that wants to se what is it like to work within an investment bank. Do some research before you interview so that you have a preference for what division you want to shadow.
they had arranged speakers from all the different division and they answered all of our questions so I guess that they valued us in that ways
They gave us several tips for the AC at the end of the week which was really good and HR answered all the questions that we had.
Maybe not that much skills for my studies but the AC at the end of the week was a good practise for your interview skills. Otherwise it was more of a informative week.
The Company
The structure was really good and everyday was planned with different activities and there was never a moment when we had nothing to do. The work shadowing was probably the best part of the week where you really got to see what it is like to work at an UBS. The AC at the end of the week was also a great opportunity to be fast tracked to a summer internship just practise the numerical test before.
Everyone was nice and did their best to answer all of our questions.
They invested time through the work shadowing and with all the different speakers.
It was a really good opportunity to see what is would be like to work at UBS thanks to the work shadowing.
I think we got the basics but I think you must spend a little more time there to really understand the culture.
You are given a good insight into all of the divisions so it was not that hard to decide what you thought was more interesting.
Everything Else
They paid for my accommodation and travel and also gave us breakfast and lunch every day which was nice.
We had one networking lunch which was good opportunity to meet people working at UBS. We also had a networking event with the other interns.
They were good you were given the chance to speak to several different people.
No not really. Most questions were about their work.
Yes! It is the best way to secure a summer internship and to get a good insight into UBS.
