The Role
I loved it.
I felt like my team really appreciated the work I did for them.
I was lucky to be very well supported by several members of my team and always had guidance when I required it.
It could vary depending on which project I was working on but for the most part I was busy.
Had to create presentations to be used by senior directors.
I learnt skills specific to the job that are not at all part of my degree.
The Company
Great atmosphere. Very cohesive and supportive teams.
It was well structured. Training at the beginning followed by project work culminating in a presentation. Also lots of networking events and time to visit other divisions.
Lots of time spent with people from different divisions in order to gain a broad knowledge of banking.
Subsidised Canteen
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
Very. There seems to be much opportunity to progress to senior levels.
The Culture
It was great, both at work events and those arranged separately. Lots of the BAML interns live together which also creates a good environment.
Not too expensive considering that it is London.
Brilliant. The City is a fun place to go out.
I was invited to lots of events by members of my own team and the teams in which friends worked.
