The Role
The internship was a valuable hands-on experience for me to get the real insight into the audit work. I thoroughly enjoy the atmosphere at the office and the work that I carry out.
Everyone is more than willing to help you with any questions. If you don't ask, people even get worried about you. I really feel as part of the team!
The guidance is very clear, and I work with different people so it is my initiative to actively seek for support.
Most days are quite busy but if I focus on the work, I can always finish before 5.30.
It depends on the nature of the work. If they think I am able to deliver then I definitely can be responsible for it. But sometimes I don't get the client job expected because of inevitable issues. However, in audit, sudden job change is common.
Some skills are job specific, but most skills are transferable to my current study.
The Company
Nice and relaxed atmosphere. I can freely talk to people any time I want.
There were some unexpected issues, but overall it was good set-up.
I received a lot of training and development in such a short period of time. For example, technical training in accounting and audit, personal development in presentation skills.

If you work hard enough, promotion can be very quickly.
The Culture
depends on office
relatively expensive as it is close to London
I suppose it is quite lively area.
not so many as far as I know. But it really depends on the office you are in.
