  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?

    • Really insightful week, where we got to talk to a really good range of people.

    • The firm invested a lot of time in us, they had fully planned each day out to ensure that we got the most out of the two weeks

  • 3. How much guidance/support did you receive during the insight?

    • We were encouraged to talk to a range of current employees which was really helpful in learning about the firm. We also got assigned a 'buddy' who was there to answer any further questions we had.

  • 4. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and information you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?

    • We had an accountancy style workshop for a day and a half of the two weeks, which was really helpful for both degree studies and my future career. Furthermore, we were given multiple public speaking opportunities which really helped to improve my confidence. The networking opportunities we had, and the skills we learnt from them will also be extremely useful for the future.

    • We were very busy everyday and even at some lunch times - we were never waiting around.

    • Everyone was really friendly, which really reflects the culture of the firm.

    • The accountancy workshop was great for the future. They also helped us improve and develop many skills, again useful for the future.

    • It was helpful because we were able to talk to lots of employees each at different stages in their career.

    • Every person I spoke to stressed the team dynamic of the firm.

    • Very valuable, the firm confirmed that I was choosing the right path.

    • I was paid and reimbursed expenses.

    • Lots of opportunities to meet people my own age e.g. other Spring Insight applicants. Also, lots of opportunities to meet employees (from analysts to partners).

    • Really enjoyable and beneficial.

    • There were multiple sessions where we were able to find out about the abundance of activities and clubs that the firm has to offer.

    • Definitely - even if you are not 100% sure about what you want to do as a career, this is a great way to find out.
