The Role
I greatly enjoyed my internship.
My colleagues considered me a full time employee and a real resource for the team.
My manager, my team and members from other teams and divisions were very helpful throughout my internship. Employees were always very willing to help me whenever I faced a problem or wanted to discuss possible solutions before implementing them.
I was always busy. Not only with my desk projects (which kept me busy and motivated) but also with training and networking activities organized by the firm. There was, however, a good work-life balance. Very rarely have I stayed working until late.
From the start of the internship, it was made very clear to me that my intern project was of real value to our clients. It was my sole responsibility to make sure my project went live before the end of my internship. I was constantly meeting with the customer to tailor the product and, when it finally went live, I was happy to see it really being used by them.
My technical skills have developed to a great extend. I learned and used the most varied technologies which have helped me with my final year of university. The official training was also invaluable and I am sure the soft skills I have developed will be useful to any career path I chose in the future.
The Company
Even though people were always very busy, there was a playful atmosphere to it. Everyone seemed to be having fun whilst working. Everything was based on team work, communication and consensus.
Very organized. Many events, talks, training, 360 reviews. I was never left under the impression that something was left to the last minute.
A lot. We had multiple training sessions and networking events every week. It was clear that full time employees were keen to spend their time with the interns.

Very. I was offered (and accepted) a full-time position after graduation.
The Culture
Yes. All the interns were always up for going out.
As expensive as London gets. Having said that, my salary was good enough to cover my living expenses, go out and still save some money.
There is something for everyone in London. We used to go out at least 3 times a week to the most varied nightclubs and pubs.
There was. London is a great city with many opportunities. It all depends on the intern.
