The Role
I gave my internship 9/10 because the people at Goldman are extremely nice and knowledgeable. Regardless of how busy they are, they always take the time to sit down for coffee or chat sessions with the junior bankers to explain what's going on with the particular deal or how to survive at the bank.
Unlike other places that I have interned, I actually worked on live projects at Goldman (even though I just literally took the job with a week of training). I was able to send emails or even contact clients to update them on equity market performance and deals.
In short: A LOT!
It varies day-to-day but in general, interns are extremely busy. To some extent, it is due to the fact that it takes time for us to familiarise with various databases and learn how to do things.
a Lot because we are always working on live or real projects even if it's just pitches.
The most important skill I learnt from the internship is probably time management (as compared some particular valuation or financial technique). Banking is not rocket science but you have to learn to do things under a fast-paced and time-constrained environment.
The Company
People are extremely (really extremely) friendly as they often take you out for lunch/coffee breaks.
The programme was well packed with training sessions, talks (across the globe) and of course social events.
I feel that the company does want us to stay and learn a lot during the short period of time we were there.

Everyone knows that Goldman is a good brand name on CV.
The Culture
Especially among the intern class, we made good friends and still kept in touch.
I lived in central London and within walking distance from the firm. With meal and gym subsidised, the living cost is not good bad.
London is good!
We volunteered in countryside London in a channelisation project and it was great fun outdoor :D
