The Role
Really good to have a year out of university and learn new skills in a huge company where I felt like I was valued
I was pulled in to do work on behalf of my team within a few weeks to help their work load be a little lighter
I was appointed a supervisor and regularly monthly meetings with them were set up. I know who to go with any problems and any ideas I had were supported
Sometimes my knowledge is not vast enough to help on certain projects. However I took it upon myself to create new projects that were supported by management
Due to my work projects everything I did had to be checked but that didn't stop me from working on important projects
The training in my analysis field had nothing to do with my degree directly. However, the skills of the working life could be applied to my university course so I had a much better routine and drive throughout the last year.
The Company
Everyone, from any team or any department, are approachable and are more than happy to help or find out and point you in the right direction towards help. Its one of the best atmosphere I have worked in.
Really well as previous placement students have been here.
