The Role
I enjoyed it due to the added responsibility given to me.
I felt valued by all colleagues. Provided you do your job at the level required you will always be valued.
Management and supervisors were readily available to answer any questions I had.
It would be dependent on what time of the month, at the start of the month I would be relatively quiet but during month end it would involve me having to work longer hours and at quarter-end coming in during the weekend.
I was given a lot of responsibility throughout the placement. As time progressed and my knowledge improved, I was provided more opportunities to take on added responsibilities if I wished to do so.
Any skills learnt and developed in a relevant role will assist with your degree studies and provide you will a good point beyond your studies
The Company
The general atmosphere in my department was relaxed.
It took me ages to get my start date etc. but once placement started and training was provided by the previous role holder, there was no extra things organised in terms of it being a placement.
None other than the time taken to learn the job. I asked for further training and development but it was not provided.

The Culture
Yes, the company set up a night out at the start of the placement to allow the interns to get to meet each other.
Aberdeen housing prices are on the top end in the UK and Intern salaries are nationally set
Due to there been two universities in Aberdeen, clubs are mainly aimed at students
