The Role
I thought the role was quite challenging but very rewarding at the same time.
I believe I have made a significant impact on my team and department.
Management were extemely helpful and were willing to give me responsibility.
Work is always busy even if it's not production work, as i have a large project to work as well.
I thought I was given alot of responsibility and opportunity to show Xerox what i'm "made of".
I think i have developed essential skills such as time management, communtication and presentation skills.
The Company
It's usually quite lively and very friendly.
Xerox have a very well structured placement scheme and are very much in line with industry placement standards.
There is alot of opportunity to study and train outside of your role; however you aren't always given the time to do so.
Flexi Time
Subsidised/Company Gym
Management have opened some potentially interesting "doors", within the company.
The Culture
The Slough office is very detached from the other offices (Uxbridge and WGC), as there are only about 5-8 placement students in Slough.
Slough is a cheap place to live reliative to London. Transport is very good and it's only a 15 minute train ride into London Paddington.
What nightlife is indeed the right reply ... no further comments!
Yes there were because I formed a good relationship with some of the other staff in the office.
