The Role
Very good introduction to the industry and set me up perfectly before beginning second year at uni.
Every member of staff I met were kind and offered to help me or to take me out on site and the managers liked to have a chat with me so make sure everything was going well
Yes, they all were very supportive and made sure that I experienced specific things that I told them id like to know more in.
Relatively busy. If I hadn't had anything to do at some time id sort out my placement diary.
Not much because I hadn't had barely any experience before so I preferred to take a back seat too take it all in. But next time I'll be more confident in taking responsibilities.
Extreamly helpful. I couldn't recommend anything else to support your degree as everything makes much more sense. And you see that there is a reason in doing all the university work.
The Company
Nice and friendly. Everyone were very kind and met great characters.
Quite organised. But I think I'd like more notice next time where I'll be placed because it was quite shorty notice that I'd be moving away from home.
They invested a lot of time in making sure I got a good whole experience with them
Travel loan
Excellent as they have offered me a two year contract after graduating.
The Culture
Not really because I had to travel far and there weren't any other students doing what I was doing there.
It was normal I would say
Not great because it wasn't a place with a great nightlife
Yes we went out for food a few times and some drinks. But not that many times
