The Role
Very enjoyable experience overall! The company made a great effort and the people at the induction event did an excellent job in helping us to fit in.
Very valued - everyone was lovely to me throughout my summer placement. people always took the time to chat and ask how things were, checking back that everything was ok. i liked this a lot.
Occasionally support was rare as people were very busy at times. Also, at some point as an intern you feel stupid to always ask questions that seem very basic,
It was a decent amount, sometimes a bit bored, then at some days too busy, but I guess that is part of the job
I would say I was given as much responsibility as possible really, since some things are at the intern-stage simply to complicated or would take too long to train an intern to be prepared for those exercises.
I definitely improved my team working skills and learnt how to deal with certain situations at a client. Excel and software training was also useful and will be helpful in the future.
The Company
Friendly and cooperative. People were trying to get to know me, many social activities oytside of work
Very well organised. However, some of the training at the beginning when I was in the office bit intense. The time could have been a bit more relaxed to actually get to know the other interns.
not so much, except for some presentation skills training. There could have been more on people skills, and excel

The firm itself is great. ACA qualification as well. However, I think the financial reward compared to competitors that attract similar people, such as Invertment Banking, is less
The Culture
A lot of social events were organised, such as regular drinks, wine tasting, dinner, etc. Interns organised many social events as well which was good
London is London!
Excellent selection of venues for all tastes
Yes lots and lots from events set up for the SVS starters to other drinks and evenings set up by the department.
