The Role
I would highly suggest doing a placement at L'Oreal as you are exposed to amazing opportunities.
Interns are treated as a member of the team. You are fully integrated into your brand and have real tasks from day one.
I sat next to my line manager so we kept in contact alot. I worked on a small team and there was little support when my manager wasn't present.
There are peaks and troughs but if you keep on top of your work you will be able to handle it.
From the start you are given a tremendous amount of responsibility, which is a good thing as your confidence goes through the roof from the first week. However, there is alot of pressure to perform well when you are a new employee.
I have gained a lot of workplace and personal skills. Time management and prioritising skills will help in final year of university and later on in my career.
The Company
Friendly and happy.
It was very well set up with a clear structure for the year. Would love some more intern work events and sessions.
Managers pushed me to develop every day with targets and objectives.
