The Role
There were lots of talks including audit project and and other projects such as running their social media and a charity fundraiser. The organisation and structure of my internship could have minor improvements.
Even as an intern I was given important client testing and other work to complete
Due to my line manager being quite busy they were unable to provide a sufficent amount of guidance
This fluctuated depending on the nature of the client
I was happy with what work I was given as I felt I was making a solid contribution to the team
I had lots of constructive feedback on my performance and received training in presentmg and building rapport
The Company
The atmosphere was great, a very good working balance
Others had a slightly different experience to me in that they received an introduction to some aspects of te internship such as their presentation and laptop usage. I unfortunately didn't meet my line manager until the end of the first week
Flexi Time

Working from home
Overall, I feel I will be very happy working for Grant Thornton in the future years
The Culture
All interns got on very well
In the northwest offices it is relatively inexpensive
Liverpool and Manchester have a great nightlife scene
There were frequent social events and sporting event such as inter-office football tournaments
