The Role
I thoroughly enjoyed my internship, Lloyds ensured not only did you have a worthwhile internship secured but that you would also have a great social life by housing you with other interns.
My colleagues ensured I felt valued everyday and even gave me a card upon leaving.
My line manager was brilliant and ensured he always had time for me and that I fully understood the task at hand.
Most days I was the right level of busy, however at the start of the internship I didn't have much to do.
I was given as much responsibility as possible but my manager and team members did step in when necessary.
My internship was not relevant to my degree however it has set me up for a promising career.
The Company
Quiet, but very chilled and friendly.
Everything was set up brilliantly, except some minor issues with pay.
Lloyds provided numerous webinars to help us understand the banking sector.
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
I have accepted a placement on the graduate scheme and I am hoping to return to the same office, as they employees were so friendly.
The Culture
Yes yes yes!
As Lloyds paid for our accomodation, our living costs were very low.
We lived in Leeds City centre and the nightlife was amazing.
Not organised activities but we organised lots ourselves as we all lived together.
