The Role
I really can't think of a better bank and a better team in which to intern!! Not only did I learn a lot, but also I felt very integrated in my team, I met very interesting and talented professionals, we had a lot of networking events for interns, etc. I can't wait to go back full-time!
My constantly thanked me for my job and valued all my contributions.
Anytime! I asked tons of questions and everyone tried to help me all the time. They also gave me great opportunities as I progressed.
There's always something to do!!! But that's great because the 12 weeks pass very quickly and I wanted to learn as much as prossible.
Of course as and intern is difficult to get a lot os responsibility. I as very lucky to be staffed as an analyst for a deal during 3 weeks, so I guess responsibility was higher than for other interns.
I learnt so much! I now feel confident speaking about industry-specific subjects, I apply what I learnt in the subjects I'm doing now and in my masters thesis... the internship was all about learning!
The Company
Of course working at a bank is serious in the sense that people ar very driven, but we also went out together for lunch and people enjoy their time there.
Great organisation: events, reviews... by the team where I interned and the HR team.
They invest in you a lot. If they see you're performing well, they put a lot of efforts on training you more and more so you become a valuable asset for the firm and you can come back full-time!
