The Role
The most enjoyable part was probably getting to meet lots of new people. Some parts of the internship was a bit slower than others but over all a good experience.
I did feel valued and felt that my colleagues were interested in me as a person and my background.
Guidance by management was not as great as I anticipated, purely because my line manager was very busy. However, time was set aside now and again to see how I was getting along.
Usually quite busy but there were days when I didn't have much to do and had to find my own way.
I was allowed to interact with the customers on the bank branch floor but I felt in some ways confined to doing just that. The project I was involved with didn't really allow me to make any changes in real life situations.
I've definitely become more confident as a person upon completing this internship and am more able to face working life when the time comes for it.
The Company
Everyone was friendly and I especially enjoyed the morning meetings when the whole team would come together to have a laugh and reflect on the week.
Quite organised.
I think the company did invest a lot of time and money into me in order to find a potential fit in their grad scheme.

For the degree and career path I wish to follow, right now the organisation cannot provide me with the correct training. For others, prospects are quite appealing within the organisation.
The Culture
Very good social scene. It depends on how sociable the other interns are.
I lived in London so it was quite expensive, but the company takes this into account and provides living allowance.
Good.
Yes. We partook in a charity day and some other events organised by the grads.
