The Role
Colleagues were very kind and helpful and have learnt a lot of new things during the year. Responsibilities were given which meant that I had to make sure that I do deliver outcomes and meet deadlines. It was rather interesting where I can to enhance my soft skills tremendously.
I have been given more responsibility at work. I felt that my work and effort has been valued and that they trusted that I could complete tasks that was given and meet requirements.
My supervisor was really helpful and supportive. Guided my through activities, at time directing me to more suitable ways of approaching situations
I did mostly project management where I make sure that there was progress in activities carried out, at the same time analysing and collating data that was captured and collected. Both of which require a lot of communication and organizing.
I was managing my own time and task that was given, having to ensure the delivery and deadlines.
This placement was not 100% related to my degree. However, the soft skills that I have picked up and improved will be very helpful upon embarking a graduate career.
