The Role
A great working environment with Opportunity to use state of art technology and equipments.
The Design engineers of the sensor take my comments seriously and work together to optimize testing. Decisions like the scope and usability of the sensor are based on the reports of my findings after testing the sensor.
An introduction to the work in the beginning plus plenty of lessons are provided along the work. A senior supervisor is assigned throughout my placement who is helpful and provides advice as and when needed.
Never been too busy or bored, always had some exciting work to do. On the plus side I take advantage of flexi system which allows me to choose my work hours throughout my placement.
I have been presenting the progress/results of projects to the management, which is a key factor in making an overall decision (such as resource allotment, further allocations ) for the project.
I have improved in almost all of the skills necessary for my degree and more. I have even found some potential ideas for my final year project.

I have been improving my skills in Design work, which is introduced for my benefit as part of my degree.

The Culture
The placement student before I joined has been helpful and is a good friend. I have met many student from around the organization.
People are great and I have no problems socializing. The cost of living is not bad for a placement student.
Ive been out most of the weekends. Its not bad for a town!
Yes, A recreational society, where I can join many sports club. You can sign up for a day tour for visitors and new members around the campus.
