The Role
Very interesting and challenging environment, which I enjoyed
Employees at UBS made me feel part of the team and very valued
My two line managers helped me through every situation I was struggling in (both technical and generally related to being an intern)
Quite busy, which I really liked- the last week a bit less so which thus felt like an anti-climax
Responsibilities are naturally limited during a sales and trading internship
I learned a lot about the industry but also about myself
The Company
Very friendly and supportive
Well organised overall but a few of the events during the internship interrupted work I had to get done for my team (this differs based on the desk though and was only the case in my derivatives rotation)
I consider time one of the greatest investments and was really surprised about how patient employees were with explaining their work to interns
